Even the rain couldn’t stop the Two Hands Golf Day on Wednesday 29th Feb 2012. We raised over $11,000 which is fantastic. The competition was changed to a 9 hole comp due to the weather and 40 golfers faced the rain which did not ease up all day. Mayor Ann Ferguson opened the day and said a lovely speech before the golfers hit off. After playing 9 wet holes and changing into warm clothes the golfers were treated to lovely wines by Two Hands Wines, champagne and hot canapes during the presentation of prizes. We then all moved inside by the fire for a dinner for over 100 guests which included a raffle and auction which were both very successful.
Big thank you’s to Two Hands Wines, the Golf Club, the Adcock family, Bob Slade, John Bond, all the other sponsors who donated to the event and everyone who came. Here’s to another great event next year.

It’s better to give and receive.
Every donation counts.
